CUTE blog i just came upon!

Hello, well doing my nightly searches, I know, I should really finish my scrapbook. Have set that aside for a while now bad me. Some of the pages that I have yet to start are from April and May along with the holidays. My excuse is lack of supplies. I've been telling DH that I need more supplies, and lately he has been giving me more money to spend on my scrap booking supplies, and yet ... nothing lol.

While browsing around I found this cute blog! A place to be me... she also has some cute things that she has made. Its a def. go take a look, oh and also this cool blog candy as well!

Well this is my first time posting this early most of the time its in the late evening or very early in the morning. (11pm-3am) hehe. anyhow check out this blog that i just came across and look at the blog candy ! not only that but there are tons of great info and just about everything!

Check out Adams Acres Scrapin

While looking around in my Yahoo groups I came upon this cool site: Adams Acres Scrapin. With in minutes of snooping around I just had to sign up to receive updates! What made it even better was their blog candy. Yes, I know we all love blog candies but you have to check out theirs.

The Next Level

Come check out The Next Level's blog, it will be launched on the 1st of June. What's cool about them is that their 'Weekly Challenges are not tied to any specific brand' -which I like. Polka Doodle Challenge

While looking around at other blogs I came across Polka Doodles' blog and they are having their FIRST challenge this week. No theme just a sketch to follow. Which is great, considering that I'm new to it all.

I made it last night before I went to bed, so I was safe from keeping it away from Dh. However, today was a different story. Supposedly, Dh knows about it and has seen it. And has been teasing me all day about. And thats alright I'll still give it to him on the 29th lol.

New project...

Well I'm working on something for father's day, I'm thinking about making a word album, "daddy". I'm trying to do it all from scratch, so far so good, considering that I'm new to the scrap booking world. I'm using SCAL and the Cricut to do it. Wish me luck hehe.

New addition

After some thought after finishing the Christmas LO, I didn't like how it looked so I changed it and here is the the new finished page. (Totally forgot to publish this post couple of days ago). Anyways, I took out the film strip and added the gift box, and 3 ornaments. I think it looks a lot better.

On Monday Dear Husband (dh) came home with this new car (not new new but new to us). It's a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. He traded the old VW for it. Dh didn't tell me about it, but that morning when I saw Dh grabbing some papers I had a hunch that he grabbed the tittle of the old car. My dad knew about it but kept it from me as well. I sure will miss driving in my 2006 Scion but the Galant has tons of storage and it fits two full size strollers! took me 10 minutes to figure it out but I got them both in! hehe. Scion will still be available for me to use so can't complain too much right?!

Any luck coming my way?

I was planning to post earlier, however I got a little side track and finished my scrapbook layout. The layout I was working on was for Christmas, yes I know it's a bit late. However, I was waiting for my Cricut expression and some ideas lol. Actually, I was pretty busy, from being a new mom, moving out in March to live back at my parents place, and just trying to keep sane, while living in a house with 11 other people! Yes, 11! Sorry. Back to the subject ... LO, the papers I used are from, Memories Forever, Color mates, Studio Basics 101 and Best Occasions. The tree, circle, film strip and the holly leaves are images I found online, and the bottom and the string were from my mom's secret stash. The font I used was Monterey BT. This layout is pretty plain, but I'm still a newbie and still learning. Oh, I almost forgot, I also used SCAL, Inkscape, and the Cricut.

Another thing I also want to share is, I found 4 four leaf clovers in the back yard. They were all in the same general area, (behind the garage). I found one on Wednesday, and three yesterday. The first two, from yesterday were found within 5 minutes apart from each other and later in the evening I was able to find another one within 10minutes. So does that mean I'll have a lot of luck coming my way or will it just cancel itself out since I found so many in less then 24 hours? I sure hope the luck doesn't cancel itself out. Since I really do need some luck especially now lol.

ITS HERE!!

Well... it's here. DH got me Sure Cuts A Lot! I'm supper excited! I've read so many great reviews on it so I can't wait to put my two cents in. He wanted me to use it right away but I still want to make sure I know how to use it first. Once I make something from it I'll post it up.
Other then that, it was a beautiful day in the mid 70's, so Vince and I spent some time outside on the front lawn. This weekend our family will be taking a trip to St. Paul. I can't wait. It will be Vince's first trip out of state, and a four and a half hour trip. I sure hope he can make it that far! We will be traveling at night so most likely (fingers cross) he should be sleeping. Anyhow, dinner wont be ready if I don't start on it so goodnight.

What's all the fuss?

Well while looking at everyone's blog I figure, why not set one up as well. And so ... TADA here I am. It's about 2:15am now on a rainy Thursday early morning. OH dear I think I just saw a bug. If you know how I am, I'm deathly afraid of bugs. ANY KIND. really! I think that's sign I better call it a night ... eek i think its getting closer ...
